Financial well-being can help us to live life to the full.

Building a foundation takes knowledge and planning. The easiest way to find out how to make the most of your finances is to talk to an expert. At FSS Financial Planning, our advisers can provide you with a financial plan that is tailored to you - your goals, lifestyle and money habits. We can develop an overall financial plan for you through our Comprehensive Advice service.
Getting the most out of your time
Our approach to financial planning makes the best use of the time you spend with your adviser. We ask that you invest a little time prior to your appointment and complete our Lifestyle Questionnaire for comprehensive advice. Our advisers will let you know what information may be needed from you in order to provide you with advice. With this commitment from you we can properly understand your circumstances and goals and maximise the productive time with your adviser.
Working with you
Our Comprehensive Advice service uses a 3-step process in which you and your adviser work closely together.
Step 1: Your commitment
Complete the lifestyle questionnaire
We will seek information on:
- your weekly or monthly income and general expenses
- details of your savings accounts, superannuation, insurance and any other investments you have
- your debts, including mortgage, car loan and credit cards
- details of Social Security payments you receive from Centrelink and Veterans' Affairs or from other countries
- your health
- any estate planning issues you have
- your lifestyle goals
Step 2: Your adviser's role
Develop the plan
After an initial discussion and using the information from your questionnaire, your adviser will develop appropriate strategies to help you meet your goals.
These strategies will be outlined in your financial plan which we will send to you.
Your plan will also contain details of any fees or payments we receive (in actual dollar amounts). We will also outline any limitations in the advice we give you and any associations we have with other parties which may influence us in providing your advice.
Meet your adviser
On receiving your plan, it is your choice whether to then meet again with your adviser.
If you do, your adviser will take you through your plan, explain how the strategies work, outline any risks and show you what's involved in implementing the plan.
Step 3: Put the plan into action
Implement the plan
You will then receive confirmation from relevant organizations indicating that the process is underway or completed.
